Dark figures rising - for sale

This was the culmination of my work through the three-figure concept, inspired by Lee Krasner's work during Cassandra Beaver's class.

Like Figures Rising, I used machine piecing, machine quilting, hand applique, and hand quilting. This quilt only felt complete after adding the hand embroidery to the quilt top. 11.5" x 13"
