Panels made modern

My dad is often cold these days, so I thought he might enjoy a fishing-themed quilt. A gift of panels from a fellow quilting friend and some interesting fabrics in my stash that reminded me of water and fish. Creating simple blocks to pair with the framed panels, I was able to pull the pieces together. To quilt the "quilt sandwich" together, I used the echo technique and a walking foot. I did purchase the cotton flannel backing as it makes it feel warmer and cozier.
